Hi Guys. I bought a 2006 model KDX that has had the light and odometer taken off to be replaced with a CYCRA works number board. I have fitted the odometer and light back. I have connected the wires under the tank, the black was cut and I had to reconnect it. The other two wires just clipped in to one another. I started the bike and no light came on. I also noticed that there are two loose wires near the connection on the light and wonder if this model comes with a switch on the handle bars. I didn't see any marks on the bars?. I live in South Africa in case there are different models for countrys. Please help ? Thanks Steelheel.

US bikes come with an off/on switch on the handlebars that controls the headlight and tail light together. Read other threads on here for lots of lighting information.
Cheers John

Did you check to se if the light bulb was ok? Sometimes the simplest little thing can slip by unnoticed

Yip check that first. I have since got myself an owners manual and all is in there. Yes it has a switch. Thanks mud.
