I need to sell my bike soon!!! Whoever gets this bike is going to be very happy with it. It's a 2001, Honda cr250, the last year of the "power valve." The power [exhaust] valve bikes are noted by many riders as the best 250's Honda made, before changing them in '02. The power valve lets more/less exhaust flow, giving a lot more power in the midrange than bikes without. Don't believe me, go ask...

Anyway, I just rebuilt the motor. WHOEVER BUYS IT CAN BREAK IT IN! I bought a brand new cylinder, piston, rings, bearing, reeds, air filter, sprocket, and replaced all parts that needed it. Everything else, I cleaned up and put new grease/lube on, so this motor is COMPLETELY REBUILT (minus the crank case). Don't get this confused with what everyone calls a "new top end," I did way more than just replace the piston/rings, and I have the receipts to prove it. I'll even give the buyer the old cylinder (rebuildable)... I bought a new one because I'm in a hurry to sell the bike before my vacation, and it would've taken at least 2 weeks to rebuilt it. I decided to buy NEW parts, and I was planning to sell the old jug on E gay.

Almost forgot, I completely went through the carb too, and I rebuilt the forks last month...

The bike also has Renthal bars and a full, FMF exhaust pipe. Because I bought a brand new cylinder (not rebuilt), I spent over $700 in parts alone this week, and will give the receipts to prove to the buyer. I can't stress enough how good of a deal this is when compared to the other used bikes out there. Think about it, you have pretty much a brand new motor, and I doubt the other guys can tell you that (or at least prove it like I can). With the exception of scratched plastics, the bike's mint, and very fast.

I'd like to get $2500 for it, but I'll entertain any REASONABLE offer.

I have an extra rim/paddle too. If someone buys the bike, I'll sell it to them for $200 ($300 by itself)
