What would to big be on the rear sprokect? I am racing alot of arenacross races and was wondering what they run. I have an crf450 stock gearing running 13:1 compresion, stage 2 cam, yoshermera pro series carbon system and ported head.

does the bigger rear sprocket mean more acceleration or top end?

acceleration

if you do not reach top end around all your tracks then apply a bigger rear sprocket. gewt the biggest sprocket possible but make sure you dont loose out on long straights.....simple as

i thought the smaller the sprocket the more low end it has and the bigger the sprocket the more spped it has?

The larger the rear sprocket, the lower your top speed. The larger the front sprocket, the higher the top speed. A larger rear sprocket will give you better acceleration but less top end speed. .

Just my $ .02

yes ol 89r is right, Front Sprocket:
SMALLER --- acceleration
BIGGER --- top speed
Rear Sprocket:
SMALLER --- top speed
BIGGER --- acceleration
also 1 tooth on the front is about the same as 3 to 4 teeth on the rear.
