TTR won't idle without the choke

My 06 ttr 125 won't idle without the choke being on. I haven't taken the carb apart yet to check/clean the jets. What could cause this problem. I have sprayed the carb with carb cleaner.

The idle jet may be plugged. You can try playing with the pilot air screw, first. Most bikes run with the screw between .75 and 2 turns out from seated. If you do adust the pilot screw, count how many turns in it goes before you do anything. This way, if you don't fix the problem, you can return it to its original position.
