Every time I start my RMZ when it is cold it takes about 5 - 10 kicks. No big deal, but every time I try to start it it will backfire at least twice, it does it when I kick it. It does it no matter what. If I twist the throttle a couple of times, if I dont, with choke, without, etc. Once it's going it seems good. Any ideas?

Don't feel bad. Took a crf450 in a pick-up last winter, had to put it in front of a torpedo heater for 30 minutes to warm up before it would run! If its below 15 degrees its temperamental, but add an 80 mile an hour wind to that for 2 hours. Never tried starting one in the cold again. Friggin stupid 4ts.
