two guys( 29 and 25) both owned a YZ426F. they both sometimes spent 5 min. starting the thing. i agree that, if youre experienced enough in starting a big 4T, it'll be easier. i was just saying that, from what ive seen, it seems like its pretty hard to start.

I have a 426... no starting issues if you follow the drill. I put in the Hotcams auto decompress cams and now you just kick it and it starts. The price in that ad was EXTREMELY optomistic by the way.

And if it was a KX426F it'd be easy to start right?

Not properly checking valve clearances can lead to frustrating stating, but i've heard the 426's are very reliable.
