Sorry 'bout that, I probabaly shouldn't even have posted the second thread. There's so darn few riding areas in southern NY that I was hoping to touch base with a few people more local to me. I posted in the 'what bike to get' forum and someone mentioned Maybrook, which is a riding area near me that got closed down this summer. I was hoping I could get the person to share more info about whether Maybrook is re-opened (doubt it) if I put the thread here. Anyway, just delete the thread and I'll put it in 'general discussion' if that's ok. Thanks.

Try starting a thread in the places to ride, or damn yankees forum. There are a lot of riders that post in the Damn Yankees forum, and I'm sure they know of some local riding areas.
