i recently bought a 1987 kdx200 from a guy, he said he put a new top end in it so the power band should be great...it is fast and all that good stuff but i am getting a knocking when the bike is reving down.

ahh mayb your top or bottom end has gone ... i had the same thing with my brothers kx85 it had rod knock and piston slap, i had to get new top end so i dunno it might be that

thanks, there is one other thing that is happening too i remembered, it doesnt happen all the time but occasionaly it will seem as though the throttle is stuck open even the i pull my hand back...i have checked the throttle cable and i have checked for air leaks
