150R 99db's or less

GNCC is talking about sound checking this year. Just wondering if anyone knows what the 150 will check or if it will pass at 99db?

I haven't seen actual numbers from a standardized test but most reports are that it is closer to the 102db range stock.

The exhaust I have is advertised at "102db's or less". Have not found anything that's advertised any lower for this bike. Kinda confusing for ama to say the bike is legal to run a class and then put restrictions on it that can't be met.

I run 'em ... with the inserts they are at 94dB. With just the endcaps and spark arrestor, 98dB. (On a CRF250)

Thanks Rich! They are going to give us the first 2 races to get everything in check. So I'll find out how it checks next weekend in FL. If it won't pass I'll be calling those guys and see if they can fix me up.I should have ask sooner because I only bought the aftermarket pipe to get a spark arrester and hopes of being quieter.

I don't think it is quiet as loud with the spark arrester, I would say it kinda mellowed the tone a little. But its not really a noticable difference.

What I have on it now is a DMC comp afterburner with spark arrester.Depending on how it checks I may be getting the one Rich posted from promotobillet.

They didn't do the sound check at tech so I don't know how it checks.

I just put the PMB on my girls bikes They went threw the test at 97db and 102 with a crack of the throttle. This was at the rock hill national hare scrambels. I picked the bikes up on thursday put the endcaps with sparkarester on at the race so the packing was new.
