Why in the world can't a channel that supposedly is dedicated to motor racing of all types respect the fans of Supercross? You promote and promise live programming of the Daytona SX and then pre-empt it with 30 minutes of qualifying for NASCAR. I am sorry but to me watching people drive in circles is boring enough but to watch 1 car at a time is a total waste of my time. SX/MX are fast growing sports and the forums dedicated to these sports are active and disgusted with the lack of respect Speed shows us. It is a thrill to hope to see a race in live time but I guess we are not important in your plans.

I got lucky, I actually lost rack of time and didn't tune in until 10:30 ........

I didn't understand how the first lites heat was still running ......

Now I know. ...

I figured it was something that ran over time before the SX. Not surprising to find out it was NASCAR. Actually I don't feel as bad knowing it was NASCAR, I was afraid it was something lesser ....

At least it was not like the old days of espn2 when things like poker, golf, ladies bowling, frog racing, bug collecting, fishing, hunting, coon trapping, dog shows, cat shows, horse and cow shows, monosyllabic Ukraine open hand slap fighting ......... etc...

I added an extra hour to my recording preference because that happened to me last year.

it all comes down to $$$ people. Look at the stands at the race. When the Daytona 500 is on those stands are filled to capacity with more waiting in the cue to get in. for the SX, while there are many there there aren't nearly close to the same numbers in attendance. They are pandering to their bread and butter. I don't like it, but I can't really blame them from a $$$ point of view.

Except that what bumped the SX race was the amature NASCA league and it was single car qualifying. There was no racing. Just quals.

I do see your point though and understand their point of view as well, but for farm league?

What got me was there was nobody in the stands for the qualifying. Then messing with us by interviewing Metzger and saying how fast of an MX'er his is. ALthugh, I'm sure he's faster than me. Your right though, it is about the $$.

dude- Metzger raced pro SX and nationals for years.

I was fast forwarding my TiVO past the Napcar crap and it looked like someone was shuffling a deck of nascar pictures. Same scene over and over and over. Yawn!

ahh, I didn't realize that it was only farm league qualifying. I thought it was the big boys. Not that that would make it OK.
Honestly I don't follow the sport at all. Well other than to make fun of the my nephew for liking Jeff Gordon .

This is what I sent....

I've come to expect that your Supercross coverage is not stellar. Biggest disappointments being that when a rider even remotely starts to check out from the race, your cameras totally disappear from them. 50% of the time, that rider wrecks and we have to watch replays to see the wreck, and then miss further action while watching the replays. But I've come to accept that part of your coverage. What is unacceptable is waiting patiently for Daytona SX coverage to begin, only to have to watch a half hour of NASCAR qualifying because this is supposedly more important than a LIVE SX race in Florida. I do not like NASCAR and do not watch any NASCAR. So everytime you broadcast NASCAR, I do not watch your channel. I wish that you would understand that not all Speed viewers want to see NASCAR.
