EVS Ballistic Jersey

Anyone use the EVS Ballistic Jerseys or any other company with a similar product? I separated my shoulder twice and its still messed up so i'm wondering if a suit of this kind would provide any protection and maybe help prevent it from happening again. Anyone else have bad shoulders?

I don't know about preventing a separated shoulder, as I don't feel that I have tested mine well enough (and I have no desire to). But I will not switch to a conventional guard. I like the fit and feel of the EVS, but I suppose if i drive my shoulder into the ground hard enough, it could get separated. The shoulder plates are not connected to the chest or back plates. Mine is an EVS BJ22 Ultra.

Yeah I figure its gotta be real hard to protect that area and provide good movement. Thanks for your response, I guess I'll just have to concentrate on staying on the bike and not flying over the bars!
