Why did my post dissapear?

I made a pole about what the most popular bike is. I already had the page up so I refreshed it and a note told me that "There is no thread specified, if you clicked a valid icon please contact a Webmaster". What's a webmaster anyway? Can anyone help, meybe a Webmaster?

How do you start a pole?
I don't know why exactly because I never saw it but it may have been deleted if it was poorly worded, spelled,or just so general it had no value. Or you may have accidently deleted it by hitting a wrong button.

I posted a pole by clicking on 'New Thread' and then I wrote my question which was: "I was just wondering what the most popular bike name is. What bike do you have? Which company do you think has the highest quality?" I then clicked the 'Pole' check box. I then clicked 'submit thread' and it brought me to a page where it asked me the pole options. I put in: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM, Kawasaki and Husquivarna. I then clicked 'submit' and it was posted. Several people had already answered my pole (about 3 or 4). I typed clearly and spelled everything correctly with proper grammer. I came back a while later and refreshed my page, it then brought me to the page whith the note I showed in my last post.

It's "poll", not pole. And it probably disappeared because there's already a long-running thread in the general forum about which brand people ride. It's never left the front page since it was posted. It's a pretty popular thread.

No biggie. There are only a gazillion threads here. I didn't delete your thread, but I know how it goes. There are a lot of threads to stay on top of, hence the lack of politeness sometimes. It's nothing personal.
