Does anyone know where i could find 100+ octane in the rock hill, SC area, i have asked everyone i know, no one seems to know where i can find any.

call area mx shops/dealers. very few gas stations are allowed to have 100+ at the pump(in MA) so some dealers get 55 gal drums of race fuel and sell it by the gal. My local dealer gets Sunoco 110,112,114. you could also go to sunocoinc.com to see where a distrubitor is (I noticed 3 in SC) and get it or order it from them(or they could at least tell you who/where you could get it from.) Other race fuels(cam2) are available to order in 5 gal cans also.. but ill get back to you on how to get them shortly......

the BEST i can find in my area is 93, i live very close to charlotte, and im sure there is somewhere there i can find 100 octane. But is it hurting my bike to run 93? ('02 yz125)

ok... rocketbrand.com has 2 distributors in SC vpracingfuels.com sells their race fuels in 5,15,30,54gal drums, lots to chose from on their site, pick your fuel. cam2 is sunoco brand, I gave you that info. motorsportsracingfuels.com sells most brands of race fuel in different size containers with lots of specs, info and prices and they ship to your door. I recomend buying at least one 5 gal "drum" so you have the metal container to fill up w/ more race fuel if you find someone local who sells it. Plastic gas cans are not air tight and some of your fuel evaporates (loosing octane). the metal ones that race fuel comes in doesn't evaporate(much if any) hope this helps...

also, you might not need to run straight race fuel to get your bike to run better. I have a 03 rm250 that I run the sunoco 110 at a 50/50 mix of 110/and 93 pump (also sunoco), with great results. straight 110 didn't make more improvement over my 50/50. so 5 gal of 110 lasts quite a few races. It does not run great on straight 93 pump(since they added 10% ethinol(sp) to pump gas)

Im going to run race fuel and see how much of a difference it makes, i dont notice any problems when running 93, but then again, i dont have any other type of fuel to compare to.
