04 yzf450 clutch problems

hello, i just had a new clutch fited the other day so i decided to go for a practice, after about 2 hours of riding through the day i came to pull over and with in a second all the free play went and the clutch lever went tight, so i put the bike into gear let the clutch out and the bike just sat there and didn't even try to pull away, all the adjustment was screwed right in, one minute there was play in the lever then all of a suden there was nothing, so if anyone has any advice or nows what the problem could be i would be very greatfull for your help, thank you, john.

Did you also replace the clutch springs? Either case, measure the spring free length!
Second, did you install the clutch boss washer backwards?
