Another "what boot to get" question

I just recently broke my left leg and got my cast off last weekend. I took a look at my fox tracker boots and some of the stiching came apart, and one of my soles is about to fall off.
so i don't know which one i should go with
I want something with alot of ankle and lower leg protection
Fox f3's (I can get some for $200)
SiDi Force TA Boots($250)
SIXSIXONE Flight Boot($200)
Gaerne Fastback Boot($250)
Alpinestars Tech 7 Boots($260)
I like the f3's, sidi's, and the sixsixone"s

Sidi all the way. I did just like you, surgery with hardware in ankle.......and I wanted GOOD boots when I was ready to ride again. This was 10 years ago, still have same Sidi TA boots. They're not cheap, but very protective, totally waterproof, and I've got THOUSANDS of miles on em.........just do new toe guards and soles every 4-5 years. In my opinion, the Sidi's are head and shoulders above the boots you have listed. I've owned A-Stars and I don't think they even hold a candle.
