Hey guys, just started pulling some old bikes out of the shed my 93 kx250 shock is toast. Im looking at some other year shocks on **** and was wondering if any other year would fit. Maybe a 94, or maybe the shock off my 87 500? Anybody done this? Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

A model 94 shock will not fit 93 bike

You can send the shock off and have it gone through for a reasonable price. A used shock off the same model year is not likely to be in much better shape than yours.

yea a seal kit from race tech isnt that much- add new oil-and nitrogen-
a decent shop should be able to do it for less than a wore out 1 off eaay, after the price ,and shipping-
figure 40-50 for seals and oil-15 for nitrogen- and labor- call your local shop -

I think Im just gonna part the dang thing out. I dont think its worth it to pay 200 bucks for a shock rebuild. The thing is just clapped out, well besides the motor. Thanks
for your help guys!

You won't pay $200 to have another running bike??

No. ha ha I have too many and this one has more problems than the shock.
