Little guy big bike.

I need some help guys. I have a 95 KTM 440, I am 5'9'' and 145lbs. I have two dials ontop of my front shocks and I ride mostly rocky terrain. It tends to throw me around with its weight is there any adjustment I can make to help this problem? I am not familliar with adjusting to fit size and weight I just go with what it is at when I get the bike. I wanted an upgrade in power from a 125 but it was a huge jump in weight. Plus it was the right price. Help??
