im currently deciding between a yz250f 4 stroke, they dont have any 2 strokes at my local shop, will the 4 stroke be ok? is there really a difference? thanks

yes, and yes there is a big diffrence between them.

No two strokes at your local dealer? Where do you live?
I would consider a different dealer, sounds like this one is a bit under stocked!
That said, a four stroke is a perfectly good bike, and the YZ-250F is a MX race bike that will really perform. The next question is if it is the right bike for you.

Why would they carry new 2-strokes when no one is buying them?
