Bike Wanted

I'm looking for a bike for a friend. He is wanting to get into the sport. He is looking at spending $1500-$2000. Wanting to get bike and gear for no more than $2000. He will be riding in woods and trails. He is interested in XR, DR, WR, KDX, RMX, KX250, or YZ250. Looking for no bigger than a 250 (2stroke) or 200-400 (4 stroke). He is wanting to see what his options are.
He is located in Western Kentucky and is willing to travel within reason(MO, ILL, IN, TN).
Quick replies are appreciated. I'm ready to ride with him.
I've already got him talked into going to MW Spodefest.

I have a 1995 XR250 for sale. Asking $2000. but will negotiate. It has a 280 kit. It was my son's bike. I'm in western ky. also.

I have a 1992 kdx200 for sale. Its a great beginner bike. I am asking $1800 because I just put a new top end in it. Also the suspension has been revalved by mcr suspension. It has a moose torque spacer and a fatty pipe so it is almost impossible to stall. I have many extra parts ie. Brush guards, skid plate, fork guards, exrta seat cover, extra brake pads. This bike is like new, I bought it off an old guy last year that hardly ever rode it since 1992.
I am about 50miles north of detroit but I could meet you in ohio if you like.

He just bought a bike this past weekend. He may end up selling his bike for another, so he will definately keep the offers in mind.
