Cr250 rear shock

Hey, just got a cr250 (2003) and when i get on the bike it goes down at the rear way too far, how do i adjust this?

Its called your "race sag" do a search for how to properly set race sag and static sag. Race sag should be around 100mm and static around 20-25mm as I recall. You will need your bike stand and a buddy with a sag scale or tape measure in mm and all your riding gear, brass drift and hammer. 
You will be much happier when your set up correctly. btw its a good idea to check your nitro charge by pulling the shock off the bike, removing the spring and checking to see if the rod extends on its own freely. If it wont, about $10 will get you a precharge from local shop.good luck
