FRP kickstarter

Just got a new FRP kickstarter, looks the goods. However doesnt fully retract due to a small lack of clearance, between it and the PC pipe. Is this normal, I am only talking about 1 mm, but it isnt fully retracted. Is it ok to leave it like this or should I try a little nodification. Cant rotate the kickstarter on the spline due to it the stricking the frame>

I had a simular problem with a FMF pipe. I just ground enough material off of the corner that was hitting the frame rather than the edge that contacted the pipe. Two years and no problems.
