My front shocks take the bumps well as far as I can tell, but when I hit a decent bump I can hear and feel the forks clack as they hit their extended position. Do I need to adjust them? Is this normal?

no.. that's not a good thing.. check your oil level and the condition of your seals..

You may need work..

I think I have some leak, how do I check the oil level?

Posted by: IndyMX---------------------

requires pulling the caps off and such..

I don't know the best way on a Katoom.. but on my Honda, I'd pull the caps lower the outside tube and measure from the top of the tube to the top of the oil...

How high does it need to be?

Posted by: IndyMX---------------------

It differs for every bike.. check your service manual. Or MX-TECH may have the answer.
