Kx 100 1999 Or Cr125 1996

hey one of my friends doesnt no what to buy a kx100 1999 or a cr125 1996. He wants the kx because it not as old and less maintances would be involed and its lighter and looks better but he wants the cr because its got 25 more cc (big deal) and its bigger (only by 3inch i say) i think he weights about 50 kg and is upgrading from a xr80. thanks

What is that, like 110 pounds? I think thats about right.
Anyways, since he is probably somewhat of a small guy, I think the size of the KX100 would suit him well. But, he might grow out of it quickly and be wanting something bigger in no time.
I'd say the best thing to do would be have him sit on a 125 and see if it is too big for him. Also, coming off an XR80, straight to a 125 two stroke, there is a big power difference. Has he ridden larger dirtbikes before?

yeah he has riden a yz250f and a cr125 and he was pretty good but yeah it was a bit big and it was kicking him around a bit.
