Proof, two strokes suck more.

I keep reading these threads about which bike sucks more. A two stroke or a four stroke.

So, I have given this a lot of thought lately and this is what I came up with.

It takes the four stroke twice the amount of time to push, or suck, the same volume of air as a two stroke does in half the amount of time. If you compare a 250cc two stroke and a 250cc four stroke, it takes only one stroke to push, or suck, the same volume of air in the two stroke, whereas it takes two strokes in the thumper to push or suck the same amount of air.

So, if one figures this in a revolutions per minute time span, two strokes actually do suck more than four strokes. In fact, they suck twice as much.

I hope this puts an end to this controversy.

Two strokes may suck more, but 4 strokes suck harder!

Sounds like a personal preference issue to me.

lol, WOW...

I agree with you dirt bike dave

Hmmm.

More sucking or harder sucking.

Indeed, a difficult decision.

That's what I've always contended, 89'er.

two strokes suck twice as much. I prefer harder. Then it doesn't take as long.

So your saying that a two stroke blows twice as much too, right?

Ok. Don't go get all technical on us.

No sense messing up a good thread with facts.

I keep tellin' her..."blow" is simply an expression, and not to be taken literally.

Only 15 posts to go very astray... Is that some kind of record here?

Posted by: flyingfuzzball---------------------

kind of a sucky record doncha think

Posted by: FruDaddy---------------------

It would have taken longer if it didn't suck so much

Posted by: jason33---------------------

i dont think so-
cylinder volume is cylinder volume- 2 or 4 stroke-

250cc's is 250cc's---

i dont care if it takes the crappy 4 stroke-- 6 strokes-to complete the fiering cycle

i do like some 4 strokers - not many-

thumper= heavy flyweight
2stroker= ZOOM ZOOM
