Yamaha WR250 Seat Height

Hi Everyone,
I just bought a 2003 Yamaha WR250. I was wondering if anyone out there has this model and CC, maybe not the exact year. I am pretty tall and was excited that the WR250 has a claimed 39 inch seat height.
I bought this model last night off a guy, brought it home and saw that my TTR250 is actually taller in the seat and rear fender than the WR. I measured the WR's seat height midway and see that it is between 36 and 37 inches.
Is this up to actual spec or could it be that someone put lowering links on the bike? I'm concerned that I wanted something for my height/weight and also to do some MX.
Any help?

Actually the seat height of the WR250F is 39,3inch.
You can do some adjustments like putting risers and you can also buy a taller seat. Don't forget to check the sag of the bike it is very important. These are the adjustments that i did because i'm 6.5
