Another Tire Q. about type.

Guys, I may sound stupid. I ride back country trails alot and most of my trails are coverd with rock slides and hard dirt with a lot of jagged rockes imbeded in the trails. What tire would hold up to this abuse and what pressure would I keep it at. I dont know if this falls under hard pack or not.

Maxxis IT with 14psi should do the trick.

I've heard good things about the Maxxis too, although I've never tried one. Our conditions here in the often hardpack/gravely/rocky Ozarks sound similar to yours. The Dunlop 742 works well for us........14-15 psi. w/ super HD tubes.
