I think a 125cc 2stroke will be the best for you. If you can ride it well, be sure that you can beat 4 strokes in MX track. And smokers teach better brake-clutch control because they only give power at high rpm's, so you have to keep the engine at high rpm's with better control. And 2 strokes are extremely light compared to the others, especially the lightest is Kawasaki KX125 - only 87kgs.

I will get a 94' KX125 tomorrow, I'm 140lbs and age is 17. 125cc 2 strokes are the best bikes for us

^Ya I agree with going with a 125 2-stroke. If you're looking for a taller bike, go with the YZ125.

Sahinoz, KX 125 of 94 actually weighted 207lbs or 93KG. The lightest 125 is the 2008 Yamaha YZ125. Where ever you got your info from must be all sorts missleading.

My friend said that and I searched in the net. For ex here:
http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/ka...kx_125_1990.php
http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/ka...kx_125_2002.php

I looked at 90' and 02' models, dry weight is very similar so I thought that 93' will be the same, but I dont know, you may be right.. Anyway, the difference is small, 6kgs

im thinking about a 2000+ kx 125 but i hear 4 strokes are the future will i be able to get all my parts in the future

Posted by: Sahinoz---------------------

People say the future is 4 strokes but I think 2 strokes are better for learning motocross. And think about that, there are 07' model 2 strokes, so they are not dead, don't worry about it, get that KX125
