I went to Milestone yesterday ...quit riding when I almost looped it on the vet track and then fell over in the pits. I rode the vet and quad track (quads weren't allowed that day).

I had fun...

Saw one of Smelkie's buddies there with a shotgun on his forkleg.

I'm booked through Thanksgiving, coaching m boys teams on both Sat and Sun. I 'll ride every event I can in December and Jan.

I am flying to AZ this Sunday to watch the Steelers kick the Cards

Yup - 89r's got it - it's a seahawk ! But the weather is actually already pretty crummy - grey. Not much rain yet thought. It's 60 degrees right now. But ...... the air is pretty clean and we're digging it. Lots to do - supercross, the mariners and the seahawks about 6 miles away - washougal about 2.5 hours away - microbrewpubs everywhere - I've been taking the bus to work - downtown is cool (at least during the day) - my new co-workers are cool. We've got a nice big garage now and a basement.
and what's really cool is the garage is all wired with lights, etc. so I actually have a decent space to work on the bike now - my days of bike butchery may be at an end !

Tim- This weekend, Tony and I are setting up some Ghost rider mileage. First weekend in Oct is TWMC Hornswoggle/ Ghost Rider Set up. Oct 20-21 = Ghost Rider.

Eric- Ill put some elbow into the KTM and you can have a ride when you make it down. Also if you dont mind air mattress in a messy home office, I got a spot for ya.

TWMC seems to be running strong. Is it still a pretty large club or has it tapered off? I read something about the rules for enduro changing. Has that raised participation?

What's happening. By this active post we really are hurting for the ole days. I got a streetbike about 6 months ago, and have enjoyed the easy stress relief the bike allows. Planning,packing,riding, and cleaning the dirtbikes is alot of work. I still plan to work my club's enduro later this month, but would enjoy an easy group ride if we plan far enough ahead.

I haven't been here in a while! Just went to pick up my bike in Moab. Preeeeety.

Was thinking Glamis this weekend. But I'm told not to without paddles. I was thinking of tooling around on hard packed stuff and shortening my turn radius from.. it's current 150 feet give or take.

Elk was answering TwinSpars post not yours. Every once in a while one of those chilli eatin' Texan's wander in here smellin' up the place and we have to send em' home.

Stick around. We will be having an organized ride pretty soon when we get some measurable rain and the place stops burning. Right now the trails are way too dusty for a group ride and most of the forest riding areas are closed due to the fires and fire danger. When we do have a ride, this is the forum it will be posted in.
