Tire Pressure

I ride a 2002 KX250

What is the proper tire pressure for an MX track?
I live in North Texas if this varies from weather and altitude.

Depends on the conditions of the particular track.. Generally the softer the soil, the higher the pressure.

On a hard pack track you should run a lower pressure than you would on a loamy/sandy track.

Hard pack I usually run about 12 or 13 and on loam/sand 14 or 15..

Depends a lot on the tire as well. I typically run 13/11 F/R, but I've run across a front tire before that required 19 psi to get the same "feel" as a good tire at 13 psi.

first off, if its really soft you want to have less air in the tires. Like wet mud or really soft sand i go about 10 psi. Harder packed you want more psi which i do about 12-14 psi.
