Coming off a DRZ 400 S - looking to get YZ250

Ya...so...I'm selling my DRZ 400 S and I'm going to pickup a YZ250. I have considerable street experience and did very well in the dirt. I'm looking for a lot more performance/hit and something that flies over the whoops. I will probably be riding sand mostly and am looking forward to the lighter machine and the crazy power.

What do you guys think about the YZ250? I'm looking at getting a 2003.

my brothers yz250 rides really well, hits hard, isnt tooooo heavy, but much heavier than m cr 125, it also has a lot less of a"lightswitch powerband" than my 125, it should suit you well

I love my YZ. I just got the suspension done by MX-TECH. You will be simply amazed at the difference in power delivery
