Hello all
I'm new on this sport. Despite my 40 years old, I just got a KDX 220 / 1997. The bike is in great condition. Considering my newcomer condition I'll go slow onthis and also with my friends.
They suggested me a good replacement tire for me would be Dunlop 952, which offers good durability, since I'm not in the "PERFORMANCE" side.
My current tire is a Dunlop 695 100/100-18. I do not see the same tire size offered for the D952 family. So I'm wondering what type / size of tire should I use, keeping the current rims I have.
Also would like to know what are the numbers 100/100-18.
Thank you!

100/100-18.....
The first # (100) refers to mm wide. The second # (100) refers to the height in percentage to the width (100% as tall as it is wide). The 18 refers to rim size. As long as you have a 100 width (first #) and 18 inch rim size, it"ll work.
The Dunlop 952 is a long lasting tire..........the Maxxis IT, even more so.

you can probably get the 952 in a 110-90-18 It may be just a little wider but thats not a bad thing. the 952 is a good tire
