I was looking in another forum and some guy was talking about a 2t with valves. is this possible?

It's common with two-stroke diesels.

Most modern 2-strokes also have some sort of exhaust valve which is probably what he was referring to.

Exhaust valves (power valves), reed valves, rotary valves, and poppet valves. All have been found in 2 stroke engines.

He was saying something along the lines of the 2t will come back because they will put the valves like 4t have on the 2t

he's talking about direct injection. simply put direct injection injects, typically under pressure the exact amount of fuel into the engine that is required.. this way there is no unburnt fuel being waisted. this greatly improves the emissions of a two-stroke. ski-doo uses this now. their sleds have better emissions that yamahas 4-strokes if i remember correctly. no valves like 4-strokes to the best of my knowledge though.
