Hi guys, I have a 2004 kx250F and it wont start using the kickstarter. You can sit there and kick all day and nothing will happen, but the first time u go to pop start it, it fires right up.. What can cause this to happen and what can i do to fix it.? thanks

Do a search. This exact post has been made a bunch of times. Hows the valve clearance? Whats your starting procedure? Recent temp change? We need more info.

I agree, sounds like your valves tightened up.
Looks like somebodys going to be replacing some valve shims!

Yeah most likely your valves tightened up and you are going to need to have them adjusted. Make sure you get it done before you keep riding because they will start to eat at the valve seats and then you will have to replace the head get valve springs new valves shims and a lot more for labor. So get it done soon.
