1997 RM250 - $2300
1997 Suzuki RM250. FMF pipe and silencer, carbon fiber frame guards, new plastic, tires, carbon fiber reeds, graphics, and extras. Rebuilt top to bottom. Very fast and handles awesome. Also comes with a few new sets of riding gear that has never been worn (XL jerseys and 32 pants) Go to link below to see picture.

If I had the money I;d buy it. My friend bought a 98 for $3300. Thats over a $1000 more then what you want.
