Bought bike from a very close friend that bought it new and the bike sat for about 2 years. The bike has very low hous on it. Due to his job and family obligations I coaxted him into selling it to me. I bought it for my son to race the 250 class under the new rules but it is way too much bike for him, he rode it for about a half hour. This bike is very seroius and not for a beginner, I do not see anything holeshotting it in the 250 class.
It has the following, Complete Eric Gore 265 engine(less than 2 hours on it), Boyseen rad valve with 3 pedal reeds, PC shorty silencer, new chain and sprockets, 756 front and 756 rr rear, very very good condition, New brakes and oversize front rotor, new plastic, Oversize bars, wide pegs, on the fly clutch adjust,Bumpsticks suspension just set up for a 200 lb rider, Fresh linkage bearings and service. You will not find anything wrong or not race ready on this bike.It is beautiful cosmetically and mechanically. I will consider a trade for a 06 or newer crf250r but it will have to be a perfect as this bike is.
