A 10-year-old motocross racer was fatally injured during practice, and then you have people like this that are blaming the parents when they have no idea what the sport of motocross is about. People like this is the reason there is no place to ride. http://www.topix.net/forum/source/a...BTPU2Q3435I2KJC

But I bet half of them would let their kid play football, where the other team wants to hurt them. Then I see how this same type of parents let their daughters dress for the prom (just asking for trouble). It is obvious to us that they have no idea what they are talking about, and are guided by the rest of the sheep, but they will never get it.

My prayers for the family.

My condolences go out to Wyatt's family. It's a shame that a kid with such promising talent was taken from us too soon.

As for the ignorant pricks making comments on the article, they show everything that is wrong with society.

I read about 10 posts and got so disgusted I had to stop. WTF? Morons who think they know everything and WORSE, tell everyone they know everything and what is best for everyone should be hung to show all the other morons they won't be tolerated. I'm sure this kid went out doing something he loved. I hope I can say the same thing. God Speed little bro!!!

No skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, swimming, horseback riding, or bicycle riding!!!!
You irresponsible parents.
What kind of parent would actually allow a child to experience life? It's just too dangerous!!!
Since TV and video games are too violent and public schools are drug infested, we need to avoid those as well.
Good parents should band together and keep our children at home reading.(no smut either) "The Farmers Almanac" or "Winnie the Poo" should be okay, but we should make them read aloud just in case of hidden messages.

Hypocrites.

These are the same people that will put their little eight year old daughter up on a 17+ hand Thoroughbred jumping horse, equipped with only a floppy little velvet covered helmet and watch them jump 5 foot fences. Ohhh! Isn't she cute.

Same people that sue the school when their little Johnny breaks his leg at a soccer game or when little Suzy lands on her head while falling from the top of the pyramid at cheerleader practice and winds up in a wheelchair. Check out the injury and death stats on those activities. Especially cheerleading.

Did you know that womens basketball has some of the most frequent knee injuries (acl damage) of all the sports?

But of course, those other sports are accepted by the public. So that makes it ok.

Damn hypocrites.

Those other activities don't make that awful "engine" sound, therefore they are acceptable and wholesome.

Yeah I mean look at all the pros they started out real young.Thats why they are PROS.They have years of experience. But I guess there parents are crazy people.

me being only 16 find this bein very sad, how people who either dont have kids or wouldnt give thier kids a chance at ridng put our sport down so much, such as how a kid can be hit with a baseball in the head a die, or tackled while playing football and have a spinal injury, but yet they will not find anything bad about that because that what the child and family enjoy it, well its the same way here we are only doing what we and out familis like, it wasnt like my dad forced me to ride cause he did i just wanted to ride becasue it looked fun.

my heart goes out to that rider, he's probably tearing up the track in heaven as we speak.

My son's theory on how he wants to live life to it's fullest. This is a poster he made of him riding overlaid by the xray of his arm from last spring

I'm no doctor, but that looks like a leg x-ray. A broken tibia and fibula to be more exact.

Yeah. I was wrong, but I'm fairly used to that! That looks like a pretty nasty break.

I know this is an old post. Sorry to hear about the young kid. It's sad when things like that happen. Your sons poster is amazing. The quote is something I live my life by for sure.

i am terribly sorry to hear about the death of a fellow rider, specially one so young, and as for the people making a stink, i didn't get to see the posts on it but ive seen ones like it, what you guys say is true, the soccer moms just need something to complain about, and the other sports are just as bad, if not worse on account of all the protective gear we wear. once again its a shame that those people are pretty much pissing on what the kid loved and died doing. I hate those kinds of people

Posted by: MSB22---------------------

i hate when people act like its the bikes fault or the sports fault...i believe when its your time to go its your time....my sympathy goes out to the family
