is this ride still on?

Posted by: DWreck---------------------

As luck would have it that is a work day at the 500 so the plan is for us locals to spend the morning doing that and then go back to my house, load up and head back and see if we can get in 50 miles and then head to Hideaway.

Posted by: mx547---------------------

does that mean it's closed in the morning? it's been so long since i've been a local that i don't remember.

can you get me a membership that day or do i need to go ahead and send it in? i have a form already.

Posted by: DWreck---------------------

Yes, it's closed in the morning. (for safety and to encourage people to help)

You can join that day.

Typically we work that morning, eat and then let people start riding.

Is the crew from TX still coming up that day to ride? Is that event still happening?

Unless something happens between now and then it is.

Hey all! I'm new to Stillwater (sort of, I grew up in Tulsa, lived in K.C.,MO '00-'07 and then moved down to Florida for school for the past year) Now, work brings me to Stillwater. I'm the new technician at Stillwater Yamaha.

I don't have a bike yet, but its in the works and I've already put in paperwork with the shop for a riding permit to the 500.

Some of you guys might remember me from some BJEC races around OK.

Look forward to meeting new people and some good riding this year.

That's a good shop.

I remember you. I'm still trying to figure out how you were going so fast at the Davis enduro looking straight into the rising sun.

Welcome back. Post up when you get your wheels.

DWreck, I just squinted real hard and stared at my front fender like everyone... must have gotten lucky and not hit anything too major.

Hopefully I'll make it to the next OCCRA race on a borrowed bike. I'm planning on at least doing all the BJEC races in OK and a couple more as well.

I'm going to be getting a new Yamaha soon... Probably a 125 because it is really fun to listen to people complain about getting hammered out of their line by "some punk on a 125 with a stuck throttle"

Sorry to hijack the thread. Hope your work day goes well, I'll be at work, maybe stop by afterwards if I can secure a shop bike.

Get Paul to loan you a bike this weekend tell him it's a demo ride.
