I have a factory manual for my bike...
I reassembled my bike after changing the crank pin and bearings. It was done at a shop on a jig and balanced.
After getting the covers on, I tried to turn my engine with the kickstart lever. It turned nicely, but the lever never "bottomed" out. It goes all the way to the foot peg now. What did I miss? Did I forget to do something?
Some facts, I didn't dissassemble the starter mechanism. I only pulled it out of the engine case. I am unsure of the spring tension and orientation.
Any advice would be nice.
thanks, Charger71

I thought thay all went to the peg.

take your kick starter off the spline and move it to the left and slide back on. You can adjust how it starts and stops by the spline..

Thanks for reading my question and responding to my questions.
After getting the answers above... I checked everything again. Appearantly it IS right. I just didn't remember the lever almost hitting the peg.
Anyway, thanks y'all...
