What are the thoughts of Merge Racing's progressive rate springs?

So, we are reading this but yet no opnions? I am curious as to their ability and how practical they may be.

I think the whole idea should be to make the fork more linear than it is in stock form .
The progressive spring may compound too many things . Speculation .
I would like to drop a set in , back to back with a 1.6 and the MX-Tech E7 bladder system . Just for comparison .
