Are you interested in being part of the growth of opportunity in the eastern national forests in Texas of a trails systems like the one in the SHNF?
If so, please post in this thread and I will add you to a growing list of folks to keep informed about the opportunity to help.
Responding to the Environmental Assessment (EA) would be a good first step and all letters are welcome even if you don't see being able to volunteer to help with construction and maintenance.

I want to be clear that these will be our trails and as such we will be expected to maintain them. The Forest Service does not have the income coming from the trail system to cover expenses of all aspects of maintenance.
