my buddie has a natural colored ims tank, and over time the gas has yellowed the gas tank, is there a way to whiten it again suck as bleach, turpentine, etc.

Never heard of anything that truly works. I believe the discoloration is all the way through the plastic, I don't think it's purely fuel related... I think sunshine does it too. Take off a shroud and you will most likely see that area much "clearer" than the other areas. Mine looked really brown and ugly, the tank actually cracked a few weeks ago by just leaning it up against a tree! It was a Clarke... I went back to IMS (thicker material.) I had the Clarke on my 250 for almost five years and it was BROWN, my son's 125 has had an IMS on his bike (use to be mine) for almost 9 years and it's not nearly as discolored as the much newer Clarke was.
