I bought an fmf torque pipe for my kdk, i ride at and above 2700 feet, do i need to change my jetting or needle position? im asking because it cuts out every once and a while. Oh its a year 2000.

KDX200 or 220? What's your present jetting? Did it cut out before you installed the pipe? What's your average riding temperature right now?

??
What did you start with? 9 times of 10, the answer to, 'Do I need to rejet?' is 'Yes!'..cuz I don't think most bikes are correct to start with!

re: 'cutting out'. That isn't a jetting issue...unless you're referring to a fouled plug.

Check this out:

Tech tips has carb tuning info, and some basic 'start here' jetting recommendations.

It's worth the trouble to get it right.
