My buddy and I did our first organized dual sport at the LBL 200 weekend before last. Man, it was fun! Don't know what LBL is? It stands for Land Between the Lakes which is kind of like an island between the Tennessee River and Kentucky Lake.... I guess thats right. 
At any rate, we did about 120 miles a day on some single track, gravel roads, two track and asphalt. Here's the deal. One time a year, the forestry rangers allow this ride to ride on the hiking and biking trails in hopes of having the motorcycles clear the trails. I'll definately go back next year.
