Is their an idle speed specification for a 2003 KDX220/200?
Also, I think the factory recommends 32:1 but I have seen people run everything from 32:1 to 50:1. The guy I bought my bike off of recommended 44:1. Is their any benefit to running less oil besides less smoke?

Idle speed: as long as it stays running.
gas to oil: I use Golden Spectro concnetrate at 64:1. Any more and I get splooge.

zeerx,
spooge is a jetting problem, combustion temps are too low; unburned oil recondenses.
32:1 can run clean when jetted right.

You could be right. But I was under the impression that the oil wasn't suppose to burn. It's suppose to stay behind and lube the rings and cylinder.

Yes, Prior to combustion it lubes, but its best to burn it. Remember heat is power.
