best?: Dallas or Houston area?

I am almost ready to move to one of those areas but need to know which has the most challenging off road areas to ride in since my passion is off road riding. I used to live in Dallas but just rode at one place by Arlington. It was pretty decent but I don't know if they've paved it over yet. I suspect Houston area is pretty flat but being able to ride in the wintertime is enticing. And racing one day at the Rio Bravo MX track is a dream of mine.

plenty of stuff in and around dallas, depending on where you are moving too its only 2 hours to Red River
