Impressive work there, I've never really found much drag race stuff that I find captures the action but that shooter certainly does.

Mark Gewertz, the official shooter for the NHRA does some really great work http://www.sportsshooter.com/members.html?id=3883
His brother Cory does a little self-published series of photo books called "Church - Cars not Culture" that are just flat out amazing. The most interesting part is Cory did the first few books (and maybe all of them) with a Canon pocket digital camera.

That's awesome stuff. I watched that on ESPN2 and noticed the interesting cloud cover all weekend. I love how that worked in those pictures.
