Hey,
I'm looking at buying this bike. It starts and idles, once you give it gas... it bogs. Could this be just a pilot jet issue. I'm new to four strokes.
please let know what you guys think. If i should buy or not. I don't think its a serious engine problem. Probably needs carb cleaning.

impatient bump... looking at the bike in a few hours.

Most likely a jetting issue, is it constant or does it get better as the bike warms up?

Its constant either warm or cold
it only runs with the choke on... once i take off the choke it dies. And I've tried it outside and indoor heated shop.
Eitehr way, I bought it
$600, all it needs is carb cleaning, front brake perch, clutch adjustment and front tube

yeah clean the pilot jet. ALso remove the cap from the fuel screw there so you can adjust it.

Thanks Matt, Yeah , I researched and found that from factory they put on a brass cap so no one can play with the fuel screw.
I have to check my float height after work. Make sure its within .64-.68"

Hello all,
little update.
bike runs well. 1 little issue but i don't think its a big deal.
When you quickly snap the throttle off idle, it bogs. but if you roll it on, its fine. Is this a 4-stroke thing? Or because this is a round slide carb?
I'm thinking Pilot screw needs to go in quater turn ? (too lean?)
