Little something Ive been working on this winter 83 XC250. Ive raked the frame to 28.5 degrees, modded pegs from 07 YZ250, completely powder coated it, new plastic ,cables, rebuilt the suspension. Now just need to button up a couple thing..Im hoping to get it to a couple vintage races this year or possible race it @ the Jack Pine Enduro..:LOOKING FOR A GOOD MOTOPLAT IGNITION FOR THE BIKE IF ANYONE HAS ONE mattzz@chartermi.net

did you increase the rake then? If anything I would think a reduction in rake would make these handle better. here's my 83.

Thanks - it's taken me many years to collect them and then I sell a few now and then. I sold my '66 and '74. I stopped riding the 4" travel bikes. I'm on a '82-'84 collecting binge!
