my friend in school told me he has a 03 or 04 yz 125 and he used to race. now he has told me that all it needs is a new top end. $700 as is. this would be my first bike i just want to know is this a good deal and what should i look for when i go and see it on monday. if i do buy it i would prob. take it to my local shop to get it in top shape im just wondering how much im looking to spend

700 bucks is a swingin' deal if all it really needs is a top end. I would take it to the shop BEFORE you but it. Have them give it a once over and then if it looks decent pay the kid and have the shop fix it up.
