Help!! Kawasaki KDX 250 1993 Setup

Hello,
Iīm Max from germany and i`ve bought a Kawasaki KDX 250 fro 1993. I need help with the Carburettor (Vergaser) Setup, so can somebody from you tell me die Basic setting?
Thatīll be very nice!
Also I need the volume of the Forkoil and what Forkoil do you need?
I hope you can help me soon

You most likely have the SR model which is vastly different than the US model. do a search for others with the SR model for jetting
For the forks, use 5wt oil. about 3-4" from the top with the forks collapsed and springs out.

Forks as matt said. Mines an SR, carby PWK V700FF13 bore measures 35mm, needle HKNO middle clip position, main 132, slow 42, slide K45 air screw out 1.5 turns. Still running autolube. Hard to cold start choke circuit may be a bit small, otherwise runs very well.Allow for reading errors on carb parts, those stampings are small.

hey mate congrats on the new bike, you will love it,
the 250 may be old but is still a grate trail wepon.
the guys above have it covered for the forks and carb,
but also throw the air box lid in "den muell"
there is heaps of mods on here, there is a sub section for just KDX's it's at the top of the 2-stroke discussion page.
i have an old thread on here, it shows all the mods on my
91 KDX250, it has some good ones (in my opinion)
